The Giving Tree

Since January 1, 2014, money donated to St. Anthony’s Hospice accumulates over time towards an engraved leaf acknowledging your loved one. There is no limitation for the accrual of donations so loved ones leaves can be changed over time. The Giving Tree is a way for anyone to acknowledge those they love, even if he/she wasn’t served by St. Anthony’s Hospice.

The Giving Tree is located in the Lucy Smith King Care Center, our inpatient unit located on the campus of Deaconess Henderson Hospital. Your support enables St. Anthony’s Hospice to continue serving families for generations to come.

The Giving Tree allows the families to continue the grieving process by coming together to hang the leaf on the tree, should they choose to hang it. If you choose not to hang your leaf, a staff member of St. Anthony’s Hospice will hang the leaf for you. Many families and loved ones find it comforting to have that public reminder of their loved one who has passed away.
